I was flipping through the medical history of our dog, Pepa, when I noticed that she was six weeks old when she received her first round of vaccinations on February 8, 2019.

I did some math, working back six weeks and landed on December 28th, 2018.

This means Pepa just turned two!

So with only a few days left of 2020, I wanted to devote a post to Pepa, who has sparked joy and laughter since the day she joined our family in July. Years from now I’ll look back at 2020 with lots of emotions and memories. It was the year we moved to Puerto Rico during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was the year of a terribly hate-filled US election. But among these memories will always be our first six months with Pepa and the happiness she brought us.
